Hartland is a village of about 10,000 residents in Waukesha County's Lake Country, along I-94 and Highway 16 about 25 miles west of downtown Milwaukee. The Bark River runs through its walkable downtown, which has local shops, restaurants and parks, and Pine Lake, North Lake and the other Lake Country lakes are a short drive away.
