Lisbon, formerly the Town of Lisbon, is now a village in northern Waukesha County that surrounds much of the Village of Sussex. It blends subdivisions with farmland, wooded lots and open space, and it's close to the Bugline Recreation Trail, Menomonee Park and the shopping in Sussex and Menomonee Falls.
Homes and prices
Most homes in Lisbon are single-family houses on large lots, ranging from established country homes to newer subdivisions, along with some acreage and hobby farms. Nearly all homes are owner-occupied. Highway 164 and Highway 74 connect Lisbon to I-41 and downtown Milwaukee, about 30 minutes away.
Schools
Most of Lisbon is in the Hamilton School District, but some addresses in the western part of the village are in other districts, so confirm the district for any specific property.
