Sussex is a village of about 12,000 residents in northern Waukesha County, along Highways 164 and 74 about 25 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. It has grown steadily for decades while keeping a small-town center with Village Park and the Sussex Civic Center, and the Bugline Recreation Trail runs right through town.
Homes and prices
Sussex has older homes near the village center, many subdivisions built from the 1990s on, and a good selection of condominiums and townhomes, which gives buyers more options than the surrounding, mostly large-lot Village of Lisbon.
