Lannon is a small village of about 1,500 residents in northeastern Waukesha County, next to Menomonee Falls and Sussex. It's best known for Lannon stone, the limestone quarried here since the 1800s and used in homes and buildings throughout the Milwaukee area.
The Bugline Recreation Trail runs through the village, and Menomonee Park, a large Waukesha County park with a swimming lake, trails and campground, is just north of town.
Homes and prices
Lannon is mostly single-family homes, many of them ranches and split-levels on generous lots, and it is one of the more affordable communities in the Hamilton School District (see the census figures above). Downtown Milwaukee is about 25 minutes away.

Lannon is in the Hamilton School District, which also serves Sussex and Lisbon.
