Slinger is a village of about 6,300 residents in central Washington County, between Hartford and West Bend at the junction of US 41 and Highway 60. It's known for the Slinger Speedway, a quarter-mile oval that bills itself as the world's fastest quarter mile, and for the Little Switzerland ski area. Pike Lake and the Kettle Moraine State Forest are a short drive west.
Homes and prices
Slinger has older homes near its downtown, along with many subdivisions built in the last few decades, and a good number of condominiums. Its highway access makes it an easy commute to Milwaukee, West Bend, Hartford and the Menomonee Falls and Germantown business parks.
